MARCH 21
This Loma (hill) was part of a vast hacienda for centuries. The owners planted Eucalyptus trees some 40 years ago. Those trees were harvested four years ago. What we bought was 40 acres of eucalyptus after growth. It must go! We are clearing three or four acres right away. The rest will be cleaned out over the years and natural vegetation will be allowed to return.
We will use these "pingos" as building materials, structural supports, when we pour foundations. The rest will be sold as firewood.
